The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The tsuba by an unknown artist features a circular shape with a dark brown color and visible rust. The circular object has a large oval hole on the left side and a long, thin, teardrop-shaped hole in the center. Two smaller heart-shaped holes are positioned below the central hole. A relief design on the bottom right depicts a horse. A wavy line spans the top with a small gold-colored inlay. The background of the image is light gray.
