Rowel Spur (Right)

Metal spur with a curved shank and a rowel at one end, the rowel having a central axis and six points. The other end of the shank forks into two arms; one arm is a long, thin prong with an eye at the end, while the other arm leads to a decorative plate. Four scrollwork legs extend down from the plate. The entire piece exhibits a silver or gray color with a pitted texture.
