Pair of Sword-Grip Ornaments (Menuki)

Pair of gold-colored metal ornaments. Ornaments are shaped like grips for swords. Top ornament depicts a face with a large nose and mouth, surrounded by leaves. A circular object with vertical lines is on the face. Bottom ornament shows a toad-like creature with a leaf on its back. The toad faces right and has a flower on its right and a leaf on its left. Both ornaments are on a gray background.
