Archer's Thumb Ring

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The Archer's Thumb Ring is a large, rounded ring made of jade with gold filigree. The ring has a wide band and is predominantly green with darker green patches. The gold filigree forms curvilinear designs on the jade. A small, round, dark green stone is set into the right side of the band, surrounded by gold. The background of the image is white with a gradient that darkens at the top.
