The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Dagger (Khanjar). Metal dagger with a long, narrow, pointed blade that tapers to a sharp point. The blade exhibits a gray color with darker gray areas indicating wear and tear. The handle is made of a white, translucent material, possibly horn or ivory, curved into a hook-like shape at the top. The base of the handle appears to be cracked and worn. The background is a plain light grey color.
