Dagger (Jambiya) with Sheath

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The dagger has a curved, silver-colored blade with a pointed tip. The blade shows signs of wear and aging with darker spots across its surface. The handle is made of a light green stone, carved to resemble leaves and a curved branch. A brown leather sheath with silver-colored metal decorative pieces at the top and bottom is positioned to the left of the dagger. The sheath's top piece features a leaf-like design, and the bottom piece has a similar pattern. The background of the image is plain and light gray.
