The Ornament of Horse Trapping is a weathered, bronze-colored metal object. The object is teardrop-shaped with a pointed top. A loop protrudes from the top. The bottom half of the object is wider and has a four-petal flower-like shape in the center. The petals have rounded ends. The outer edge has a series of curved protrusions resembling leaves. The object has a dark patina with lighter areas of wear and some green corrosion. The background is plain white.
