A cross-shaped guard is positioned at the base of the blade. The guard features intricate designs on either side, including what appears to be a dragon or serpent on the left and a lion on the right. The handle is partially visible, with a black corded or wrapped section at the bottom, and a thin, gold band encircles the handle above the black section. The background of the image is a solid light gray color.
