Sword Guard (<i>Tsuba</i>)

Dark brown, circular sword guard with a smooth surface and a central cutout that tapers to a point. Two oval-shaped holes are on either side. The guard features three decorative cutouts: a diamond shape at the top right, and two smaller shapes resembling a house or roof on the bottom left and top right. The decorative cutouts have gold detailing and are predominantly dark brown. Thin, wavy lines are etched into the surface. The background is off-white. Artist: Masahiro.
