Sword Guard (<i>Tsuba</i>)
Round, dark brown metal object with smooth edges. Cut out shapes in the center resemble a stretched teardrop and a horizontally stretched oval. A black horse with gold accents stands on the left; it faces right and has a bridle with a gold pendant. The horse wears a gold and brown skirt-like garment. It stands beside a winding stream that curves around the bottom and right side; gold and brown pine branches and pine needles adorn the top right. A foreign script is etched into the metal behind the horse. The background is plain white.
