Left Vambrace

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Metal arm guard, titled "Left Vambrace", by an unspecified artist. The arm guard is shaped like a tube, with a slight curve to fit the arm, made of gray metal with darker gray and black spots. Pointed tip faces left. Two metal plates are visible, one on top of the other, with a gold-colored metal piece in the center, attached by a thin metal bar. Two small round rivets on either side. Left end appears to have a rusted brown metal piece attached. Lies on a light grey background.
