Shiva Embracing His Consort, Uma (Alinganamurti)
The bronze sculpture depicts two figures standing on a rectangular base with a decorative edge. The base has two short, thin, tapered posts on either side. The man on the left is taller and wears a tall, conical headdress. He has four arms, with the top right arm holding an object and the top left arm raised. His bottom left arm embraces the woman, while his bottom right arm is bent with the hand resting on his hip. The woman on the right has a similar conical headdress and four arms. Her top right arm holds an object, and her top left arm is raised. Her bottom left arm is bent with the hand on her hip, and her bottom right arm hangs down. The man and woman both wear necklaces, bracelets, and a short cloth wrapped around their waists. The sculpture has a dark brown patina with green accents.
