Necklace or Rosary (?)

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The necklace has two strands. The strands are made of small, cylindrical, orange-red beads. Interspersed among the beads are gold-colored metal pieces, some of which are ornate. A pendant hangs from the bottom of the necklace. The pendant consists of two large, round, gold-colored pieces with intricate designs and a smaller, gold-colored piece below them. The background of the image is a plain, off-white surface.
