His right hand grips the hobbyhorse's head which features a hole between two protrusions. The left arm is bent at the elbow with the hand on the thigh. The legs are carved together with one slightly bent. The background is dark at the top and light at the bottom with the sculpture casting a shadow to the left. The artist is unknown but the title is "Boy riding a hobbyhorse".
