The Plate by an unknown artist depicts a white plate with a circular design. The plate has a wide rim and is predominantly white with black designs. There are four rectangular stamps around the edge of the plate, one in each cardinal direction. Inside the plate, there is a large circle with a mountainous landscape and a boat. Outside the circle but inside the plate are four floral designs, one in each corner.
