The Covered vase by an unknown artist depicts a white jade vase with a carved animal on top. The vase has a narrow neck and a wider body with an etched pattern around the middle. Two handles protrude from either side. The base is small and circular. The top of the vase is covered, with a carved animal resembling a dog or mythical creature. The background is dark gray, with the vase casting a shadow to the left.
