The Incense burner with cover by an unknown artist is a white jade piece. The rounded rectangular body features a flat base and rounded shoulder that tapers in to form a short neck with a flared mouth. A rounded domed cover with a flat rim and small circular finial top. The body and cover are carved with bands of stylized scrolling foliage. A band of stylized lappets decorated with scrolling foliage encircles the base. The base has a small tag attached. The piece sits on a black wooden stand. The background is a plain gray color.
