The Jar (Guan) is a black and white image of a ceramic vessel with a wide body and narrow neck. The vessel has two small handles on either side. The body is decorated with a pattern of dark triangles and lines on a lighter background. A dark band encircles the vessel below the decorative pattern. The base of the vessel has a small, dark bird-like design. The background of the image is plain and light-colored. The overall shape of the vessel is bulbous with a narrow top and a wide middle.
