Rectangular box with lid, made of bronze or brass. The box has a stepped design on top and a knob at the back. The body and lid are decorated with an etched pattern featuring irises and a bridge. The iris flowers and leaves are dark blue. The background of the pattern is gold. The box has a flat top and straight sides. The lid is slightly raised at the back. The box is positioned at an angle, with the front right corner closest to the viewer. The surface beneath the box is white.
