Vase

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The vase by the artist is bulbous at the bottom and narrows to a flared top. The vase is a reddish-brown color with a white rim at the top. There are two handles on either side which are decorative and made of a dark green material. A decorative band around the vase's midsection features a Greek key design in the middle with curled floral designs on the top and bottom. The band is made of the same dark green material as the handles. The vase has a glossy finish. The background is white with a slight shadow underneath the vase.
