The Jar with four lugs by Leach, Bernard is a dark blue vase. The vase has a wide mouth and a narrow base. It is taller than it is wide. The body of the vase is glossy and dark blue with some lighter blue and brown areas. There are two pairs of small loop handles on either side. The handles are on the upper half of the vase. The rim of the vase and the base are brown. The background is light gray. A shadow is cast to the lower right.
