Cup and Cover

Large white porcelain cup with a cover. The body of the cup is rounded with a narrow foot and decorated with a band of leaves and flowers on a decorative border at the top. Below this is a band of scrolling wave pattern. The lower half is decorated with a scene of a tree surrounded by flowers and foliage with a band of scrolling wave pattern above. A narrow decorative band around the foot. The cover is domed with a small cylindrical handle on top. The handle and top of the cover decorated with a repeating geometric pattern. The cover and cup are predominantly decorated with dark overglaze enamels.
