The bowl is bulbous, widening towards the top then tapering in slightly under a decorative band. The base of the bowl is small and rounded. The lid is domed with a short, cylindrical handle on top. The lid features a design of trees, mountains and flowers in black. The body of the bowl features black Chinese writing. The decorative band around the top of the bowl consists of swirling patterns. The background is a dark gray color.
