The Covered Cup, by an unknown artist, is a white ceramic cup with a cover. The cup and cover are decorated with black illustrations. The cup has a rounded body that tapers to a small foot. The cover is domed with a small cylindrical knob. A man wearing a long jacket and holding a flag is illustrated on the side of the cup. A tree and rocks are also on the side, and a branch with leaves encircles the top. Numbers are printed on the bottom of the cup and on the knob of the cover. The background of the image is dark gray.
