The Incense Burner by Bernard Leach is a rounded ceramic object. The object has a wide mouth and a narrow base. The body is bulbous, wider in the middle. The surface is glazed with a dark gray color that has cracked into a fine network of lines. Lighter gray patches are on the left side. A small illegible mark is on the lower front. The background is white.
