Vase

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The vase, by artist Isamu Noguchi, is a large, dark-colored vessel with a wide body and narrow opening at the top. The body of the vase is bulbous, with a rounded shape that tapers slightly towards the top. Two small handles are visible on either side of the vase, near the top. The vase appears to be made of ceramic or stone, with a rough, textured surface that features a mottled pattern of darker and lighter shades of gray. The base of the vase is circular and flat, with a small white sticker or label attached to it. The background of the image is a plain light grey color.
