The mane covers the entire visible body of the lion, which is not fully shown. The lion's head is facing left. The sculpture appears to be made of stone or ceramic. A small rectangular sticker with the number 222 is on the side. Additional numbers, 79.2.1067, are printed on the bottom. The background is light gray.
