Small Vase

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The Small Vase by an unknown artist is a black and white image of a silver vase. The vase has a wide mouth with a short neck and a narrow top. The body of the vase bulges out to the sides roughly halfway down and then tapers to a narrow base. The vase has a shiny surface that reflects light, appearing smooth with some darker and lighter patches. The background of the image is light gray. A small white rectangular label is placed in front of the base of the vase with the words "THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM" printed on it.
