Shard by Martino Gonzaga. Fragment of terracotta plate. The plate features a reddish-brown clay body. The visible design includes a central figure of a deer or similar quadruped with a long tail, running or jumping within a circular or rounded space. The figure is rendered in dark brown or black glaze. A surrounding decorative border is partially visible, also in dark brown or black. The piece appears to be broken into two large fragments with rough edges. The background is a light gray surface.
