The vase, by artist Kondo Tomozo, is a light green ceramic piece with a wide mouth and a narrow neck. The vase has a bulbous body that tapers down to a small base. The rim of the vase is chipped and has gold repair work. The background of the image is a gradient from dark gray at the top to light gray at the bottom. The vase casts a shadow on the surface below it.
