Cabbage and Insects

The painting depicts a bunch of cabbage leaves and a dragonfly. The cabbage has several large leaves extending from a central base; the leaves are painted in shades of dark brown and gray. A dragonfly is painted near the top right corner. The background of the painting is a mottled brown color. There are several lines of Chinese calligraphy in black ink at the top left and a vertical strip of calligraphy on a brown background at the top right. There are also two red seals at the bottom right. The entire painting is surrounded by a beige border.
