Covered bowl

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Tan-colored ceramic bowl with a lid, the top half being a darker color and exhibiting signs of wear and discoloration. The bowl and lid are both rounded and have a smooth texture. The lid is domed with parallel striations on the surface and a jagged line pattern around the edge. A narrow groove runs horizontally around the middle of the bowl where the lid sits. The background is a plain gray color.
