Six sake Cups for a New Year’s Toast, featuring six cups arranged on two reddish-brown trays. The top tray holds one white cup with a dark-green outline around the rim at the top. The lower tray holds five cups overlapping each other. The leftmost cup is white with intersecting diagonal blue lines covering the body. The middle cup has a white body and blue designs on the rim and body consisting of parallel horizontal lines with geometric patterns. The rightmost cup on the bottom tray is white with blue designs on the outside of the rim and body depicting mountains. Two small white flowers with green leaves are in the lower-right corner. The background is an off-white color with a slightly textured surface. Japanese characters are written in black ink at the top.
