Noh Costume (Chōken) with Paulownia
Black garment with long tie down center, spread out flat. The garment has a repeating pattern of white flowers and leaves on it. The leaves have several rounded lobes and are attached to stems with clusters of berries. There are two large leaf designs on either side of the tie in the center. Smaller flower designs are scattered over the rest of the garment's surface. The garment appears to be made of a textured fabric, possibly silk or cotton. The background is light-colored and may be paper or cardboard. Tassels are visible on the short ends of the garment.
