Netsuke of Omori Hikoshichi
The Netsuke of Omori Hikoshichi by artist unknown, depicts two men carved from ivory. The man on the bottom is wearing a striped loincloth and has a long braid down his back. He is looking down with his left hand raised to his mouth and his right hand down by his side. The man on top is also wearing minimal clothing, appears to have short hair and is covering his face with his right hand while his left hand rests on the other's shoulder. Both figures are intricately detailed. The background of the image is dark gray, transitioning to black at the top, and the object casts a shadow to the right.
