Plaque in the shape of a horse and rider

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The plaque is in the shape of a horse and rider. The horse faces right, has a long snout with nostrils and a mouth, two ears on top of its head, and two legs on either side that taper to a point at the bottom. A saddle-like pattern is on its back. The rider sits atop the horse, facing right. The rider has a large head with a defined jaw, one arm bent at the elbow holding a cylindrical object, and the other arm bent at the elbow holding a semi-circular object. The plaque is made of a textured material, possibly metal. It appears to be an old object. The background is black. The plaque is by an unknown artist.
