Incense Burner

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Dark brown ceramic incense burner with three legs and two handles. The incense burner has a rounded body with a wide mouth and a narrow base. The body is adorned with gold accents, but they are worn off in several areas. The three legs are short and curved outward slightly. The two handles are small and rounded, one on either side of the rim. The background of the image is light gray. The incense burner appears to be an old piece by artist unknown.
