Tea jar by Bernard Leach. The object is a small, brown, ceramic jar with a rounded rectangular body. The body is approximately 1.5 times taller than it is wide. The jar has a dark brown, almost black, base color with lighter brown and tan patches on the surface. The base of the jar curves inward slightly. The lid is round and flat, made of light-colored ceramic. The lid is beige with a small, round knob in the center. The background is a plain gray color. The jar casts a small shadow to the right.
