A traditional Chinese painting on beige paper features a tree with a thick, gnarled trunk and branches. The trunk and branches are dark gray with blue shading. The tree has no leaves; instead, it has clusters of white flowers with yellow centers. Small blue dots are scattered around the base of the tree. A vertical line of Chinese characters in black ink is on the right side, accompanied by a red seal. A few small black lines resembling additional branches are in the upper left corner. The paper has darker spots and a lighter area where it is folded down the middle. The background behind the paper is white.
