The Sifting Basket by an unknown artist is a woven basket with a wide mouth and a narrow base. The basket has a flared rim and a body made of thin, light-brown reeds or fibers. The top portion of the basket features a geometric pattern woven in a darker brown and light brown color. The bottom portion of the basket has horizontal rows of thin, light-brown reeds or fibers wrapped with thin yellow fibers. The basket has a hexagonal base and is positioned on a gray surface with a gradient background that transitions from dark gray at the top to light gray at the bottom.
