The metal parts are primarily silver in color and feature detailed scrollwork. The hammer is in the half-cocked position with the frizzen and pan visible. A portion of the barrel extends beyond the wooden grip towards the right side of the image. The background of the image transitions from dark at the top to lighter at the bottom.
