Mandoline

Cleveland Museum of Art

The instrument "Mandoline" by the artist has a long neck made of wood with a carved decoration on top. The neck is attached to a round body, which appears to be made of animal skin. There are two small wooden sticks protruding from the body on either side of the neck. A hole is visible at the bottom of the body. Strings are attached to the neck and body. The background is dark at the top and light at the bottom.
