Medallion with a bronze-colored medal featuring three raised figures. The seated figure on the left has wings and extends their right arm. The figure on the right stands and holds a sheaf of wheat in their left hand and a ribbon or cloth in their right hand. The central figure is an obelisk with two lines of text; one line reads "LA MEMOIRE" and the other reads "PRO PATRIA". The standing figure on the right and the obelisk obscure the top of the seated figure. The outer edge of the medal reads "AUX HEROS INCONNUS".
