Underneath the image on the medal is more text which reads "MICHAEL ANG BRANCIFORTE PRO MEX GUV EDULGAT" on the left, and " MARCH 8 ED NOVEMBRIS MEMORIALE EQVITATIS H M D" on the right. The bottom of the medal reads "AN * 1796 *". The background of the image is gray, dark at the top and light at the bottom.
