The object is a circular bronze medal. The medal features a raised image of a female figure sitting on a rock. The female figure wears a long tunic and has her hair in a bun. She holds a spear in her right hand and rests her left hand on the rock. The rock has raised text on it that reads "Seid einig". There are flowers at the base of the rock. The outer edge of the medal has raised text that reads "Ehrenpreis An die Ausstellung Deutscher Gewerbsfleiss 1844". At the bottom of the medal, the word "Germania" is raised. The background of the image is grey, with the medal casting a shadow.
