Flattened Globular Bowl

The Flattened Globular Bowl by artist has a rounded body with a short foot and a narrow opening at the top. The bowl's body is bulbous, curving outward, then slightly constricting where it meets the short, flat foot. The exterior glaze is predominantly green with a crackle pattern across the surface. The glaze on the interior of the rim appears to have worn off, showing a brownish-red color. The background is dark gray to black, with the bowl casting a slight shadow on the surface below it. The bowl appears to be ceramic. The overall shape of the bowl is globular but somewhat flattened.
