Cleveland Museum of Art

The image shows a long, narrow, aged, light-brown-colored scroll with rough, uneven edges and surface. The scroll is divided into sections, each consisting of a figure surrounded by a halo, accompanied by blocks of black text on either side. There are four figures total; the figure on the far left sits cross-legged; the second figure from the left sits atop a lotus; the third figure from the left wears a crown and sits on a throne; and the far right figure sits cross-legged. The figures are outlined and partially filled in with white and orange paint. The haloes behind the figures are red with a blue border on the sides. The background of the image is a plain gray color visible on either side of the scroll. The artwork depicts Bodhisattva Manjushri with two forms of Avalokiteshvara.
