Hours of Charles the Noble, King of Navarre (1361-1425): fol. 256v

Master of the Brussels Initials and Associates

Cleveland Museum of Art

The image shows a yellowed, aged piece of paper with a grid drawn on it. The paper is rectangular and has a rough, uneven edge on the left side and top. The right side of the paper appears to be part of a book or manuscript, with a slight curve where it meets the next page. The paper is off-white and has darker areas of staining and discoloration throughout. There are 13 thin, evenly spaced red lines running horizontally across the right two-thirds of the paper. A single vertical red line runs down the center of the paper, dividing the page into two sections. In the top-left corner, there is small black handwritten text that reads "f. 256v". The background behind the paper is a solid gray color.
