Dish with Design of Plum Trees: Shino Ware, an irregularly shaped ceramic dish with a beige crackled glaze and an unglazed burnt orange rim; the interior features burnt orange and black underglaze slip painted design of a plum tree. The dish is octagonal with eight sides of roughly equal length. The design on the interior features a tree with a single trunk and several branches; the branches have no leaves except for clusters of three rounded leaves at their ends.
