The coin has a circular shape with a ridged edge. The coin displays a cross with four shields. The top-left shield features a crown. The top-right shield contains a lion. The bottom-left shield features a harp. The bottom-right shield contains a tree-like design. In the center of the cross are a lion's head and a scepter extending to each shield. Two crowns are positioned above the scepter arms, at the top and bottom of the coin. The letters "R·EX" are positioned on the left of the coin; "J·MAG" at the top; "B·F·R·A" on the right; and "H·L·Z·I" at the bottom. The coin exhibits a gold color with darker, reddish-brown discoloration. The coin is set against a dark gray background.
